Pretty Masks

This craft is from a book called 365 Things To Make And Do by Usborne Activities.

1. Lay a pair of glasses or sunglasses onto a piece of thick paper or thin cardboard. Then draw around the glasses carefully with a pencil.

2. Draw two shapes where your eyes will go. Then, draw the shape of a mask around the outline of the glasses. Cut around the outline of the mask.

3. Press the point of a sharp pencil through one eyehole. Then, push the scissors into the hole and cut out the eyehole. Cut out the other one, too.

4. Bend the top of a bendy straw and tape it on as a handle.

Here are some ideas for the kind of masks you could make :

Harlequin mask :Decorate a mask with paper diamonds and glitter glue.

Glittery masks : Decorate a mask with glitter and shiny stickers.

Curly decoration : Glue on gift ribbon and press a shiny sticker on top.

This is the result that I got after finishing my mask.
